What is the
Global Changemaker Academy for Parliamentarians?
The annual Global Changemaker Academy for Parliamentarians (G-CAP) is an exclusive five-day leadership academy for thirty selected parliamentarians from around the globe, organised by the G20 Global Land Initiative, hosted at the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) in collaboration with United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC).

The land restoration agenda is a cornerstone of sustainable development, contributing to food security, climate resilience, and biodiversity. As policymakers, parliamentarians are pivotal in driving legislative and policy actions to restore degraded lands and promote sustainable land use practices. G-CAP provides an exclusive opportunity for dialogue and learning among parliamentarians from around the world, as they engage with the issues of land conservation, maintenance and restoration.
